Supermarkets? No, Thank You
XAVI MONTANYÈS, ACTIVIST IN BARCELONA
The supermarkets were created to make a profit. They want farmers with huge fields producing the varieties they want in the time and at the price they want. Food sovereignty means to establish a relationship between consumers and producers in a fair exchange, where food is no longer a merchandise but a right.
Understanding the Journey
MICHAEL BAKER, LIVING IN NATURE
What I do and how I move in this Land is caused by my intuition, my sensitivity for the plants and the animals…understanding the way that the fox comes in the morning to the bowl of water I put down to drink and pass on, and the butterflies as they fly and dance around the flowers here. it is a beautiful journey…”

How to grow a tomato
PRINCIPLES OF NATURAL FARMING
How do I grow a tomato? that’s a very good question; I don’t grow a tomato… because it’s the soil, it’s Nature, it’s everything, the trees, the rain, the clouds, the sun, it’s all of the billions of microorganisms in the soil. This is what grows a tomato.
Consumerism
THE CONSEQUENCES OF CONSUMERISM
Questioning paradigms and breaking lifestyles is far from an easy thing to do. Most of us are deeply engaged and dependent on an economic system based on the unlimited consumption of goods without really thinking of the consequences.

Sunflower’s Paradox
MONOCULTURE'S ADDICTION TO FERTILIZERS
It was a shock to realize the paradox that right below the beauty of these endless fields of Sunflowers and of any other monoculture the biodiversity and fertility of this precious soil is being depleted making it addicted to chemical fertilizers.
